Furtive Art will support the raffle with special actions

In the avatars of the human, there are words such as friendship and solidarity that sometimes merge into images, contributing from the roots of the Igneri, the first agro-potter settler of Quisqueya the magical and unusual island.

The Fusión Social Inclusion Foundation and the Igneri / Art and Archeology Foundation, plan to make the spaces of the Image Center, an essential part of the Image 83 Foundation, more viable for everyone.

It is important to note that the modifications proposed in this project to the spaces of the Centro de la Imagen, at no time violate the integrity of the place, at no time does it modify the façade or destroy what has been built, even more so if it tries to modify the thinking of many who they still do not give importance to the many who do not receive the benefits of those with "full capabilities".

The Fusion and Igneri foundations came up with a raffle for a work of art created by Thimo Pimentel, a Dominican artist who won the National Prize for Visual Arts (2016). At the same time we will have specific actions by Arte Furtivo, a movement that is about to celebrate its ten years of feverish activity.

The Project proposed by the Fusion Foundation is named "Knowing my heritage". Fusion's president Carmen Inés Bencosme adds about its scope: "With this project we seek to sensitize and educate people, make them aware of the environment that surrounds them and with this generate a change. Each citizen must actively participate becoming guardian of their community, we intend to carry it out in open places, not only in schools or specific places. We are currently in the process of remodeling the spaces of the Center of the Image of Santo Sunday, to make it an accessible and inclusive place for all people. Our interest is to promote the development of individuals and cities by eliminating barriers so that everyone can make use of public and private spaces in an equitable, accessible and inclusive manner".

And it is that accessibility for all people is not in the imagination of everybody, and very often we see "beautiful" projects but where "not everyone is considered".

That is why we are formally announcing the raffle that is proposed so that we all join the project "Knowing my heritage" that we will carry out hand in hand with many friends and the solidarity of many more of good will.
